Communication Passport should:
Provide a positive record of communication strengths and appropriate strategies. Draw together information about the student from past and present and from
people who know the student in a range of contexts. Be an easy to use, accessible and user friendly profile. Outline the person's most effective means of communication. Be regularly updated as the AAC
user develops in order to stay current and useful.
A
Communication Passport should not:
Be a list of ' problems' or disabilities. Contain detailed personal information, such as addresses and/or dates of
birth.
