The following video clips are taken from a
review of a child’s Statement of Special Educational Needs under the 2001 Special Educational Needs Code of Practice and Regulations. They cover the areas addressed and the discussions that occurred between the various parties attending the meeting.

 

Look at the criteria for an Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plan review in the 0-25 SEND Code of Practice (2015). As you watch the Statement review clips, discuss and note down how the discussions and resolutions in the videos might differ under the new special educational needs/disabilities system criteria.
